Who you are?
You will lead the tax compliance process (currently outsourced) and support the delivery of strategic projects as well as all aspects of reporting, cash tax forecasting and advisory matters.

As the Group Corporate Tax Manager, you’ll get the opportunity to: - Lead the corporate tax compliance process with advisors: Work closely with the finance teams to gather and review tax inputs, co-ordinate appropriate responses to queries and ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns. - Budgeting and cash tax forecasts: Prepare tax-related inputs for group budgeting and forecasting purposes including quarterly instalment calculations. - Prepare corporate tax provisions and tax disclosures: Prepare accurate and complete year-end tax provisions for statutory reporting and group consolidation purposes and, together with the Group Head of Tax, help manage the annual external tax audit process; acting as the first point of contact for queries from the external auditors. - Country-by-Country reporting and transfer pricing: Prepare the Group’s CbCR documentation and support the Group Head of Tax with reviewing and monitoring the group-wide transfer pricing policies, systems, and documentation. - SAO compliance: Maintain, review and test the SAO procedures and documentation to enable the CFO to sign off on the certificate to be submitted to HMRC. - Drive continuous tax improvements: On an ongoing basis, review corporate tax processes to identify improvements which create efficiencies, support automation and future proof corporate tax obligations. - Project work: Assist with M&A activity, group restructuring, RDEC, Patent Box and capital investment reviews including the preparation of annual capital allowance claims
What you’ll bring? - A professional tax or accounting qualification with post qualification experience. - Demonstrable experience of tax accounting under FRS 102. Knowledge of IFRS is desirable but not essential. - Demonstrate a willingness to learn, ambitious to contribute and wanting to make a difference. - Good at working with key stakeholders and building relationships. - Organised, proactive and able to articulate in both written and oral communication. - Have a strong sense of ownership and accountability. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - An interest in technology and automation.
