Grow your career as a successful Digital Designer within Hyatt Inclusive Collection, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. In this role, you will be responsible for executing successful user interactions through digital design that effectively meets business objectives. You are a master at creative development, tools, and applications, with a solid familiarity with best practices in developing deliverables.

A successful Digital Designer will:

  • Collaborate with the Art Director & Senior Designer to assist development of traditional and digital assets according to specs.
  • Develop deliver best-in-class designs for deliverables aligning with HIC brand strategy across all channels and mediums including but not limited to print and digital collateral, social, logo development, and brand design.
  • Help maintain digital asset libraries and assist in photo selection.
  • Exhibit exceptional time management, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Stay current on design trends, innovations, and technology.
  • Manage multiple team projects, troubleshoot issues/constraints, and drive a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure each brand is cohesive and maintained across all relative media and assets.
  • Mentor and inspire junior team members.

A successful Digital Designer will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree Graphic Design or similar
  • 3-5 years of design as part of an ad agency or in-house team.
  • Must have online portfolio that displays execution of color theory, layout, typography, and graphic design.
  • 360 brand design experience (i.e., print, branding, social, some digital, environmental, events).
  • Flexible and comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Typography skills and an eye for detail and quality.
  • Experience collaborating with Art Directors, copywriters, and project managers.
  • Knowledge of Adobe creative suite.
  • Awareness of creative development for print and digital production process.
  • Proven project organization and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Additional Required Experience:

  • Proficient in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign).
  • Working knowledge of Asset management systems.
  • Knowledge of print and digital file production.
  • Experience with Project Management Tools.
  • Photo retouching.
  • Social Graphic knowledge.

Bonus Skills:

  • Digital & CMS knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of After Effects and Animation.
  • Video Editing.
  • Experience working and creating for international markets.
  • Spanish fluency a plus, but not required.
