You Are**

UST is searching for an L2 Support Engineer who will act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options, optimizing application development, maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions, account for others' developmental activities. **

The Opportunity**

  • Working with the DevOps team in troubleshooting, making sure the sites & services are reliable (availability, reachability, security & scalability), CI/CD automations, developing tools to support DevOps model, and analyzing vast amounts of data to find trends and suggest improvements for Site reliability.
  • Monitor every possible metric within the platform for a precise understanding of MyBlue system’s health at all times.
  • Document processes that cannot be automated.
  • Provide engineering teams with availability, performance and scalability expertise.
  • Data analysis to gauge, service trends and make improvements.
  • Build end-to-end documentation and instrumentation of our platform to ensure visibility, automation, self-healing and resiliency throughout the stack.
  • Make sure that everything that goes to production complies with a set of general requirements like diagrams, dependencies of other services, monitoring and logging plans, backups and possible high availability setups.
  • Support Change Management processes and functions.
  • Part of the change management process is making sure that changes and any new services that will be deployed comply with a list of requirements. This should include:
    • Diagrams
    • Dependencies
    • Monitoring plan
    • Alerts runbooks
    • Documentation

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required. **

What You Need**

  • Liferay, Angular and NodeJs skills
  • Access management tools like OKTA, Active Directory, Ping Federate, ID Proofing
  • CICD tools Jenkins , SonarQube, Ansible.
  • API management tool like APIgee gateway
  • Mandatory skills: Middleware,Appdynamics,Apache Tomcat

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington as set forth below. **

Role Location: Remote**

Compensation Range: $73,000-$109,000

Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options. **
