Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a Software QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our iWinback team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and previous experience in a product QA or similar role in an agile environment testing complex enterprise applications.

Location: Remote (candidates based in Canada, Macedonia, Germany, France, Italy, Malta, Serbia, United Kingdom, Spain)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain test strategies for iWinback products and features
• Perform QA testing to identify and resolve defects and constraints
• Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to execute automation functional testing
• Follow QA best practices and processes, including smoke, functional, performance, stress, and load tests
• Document and track quality issues and defects to resolution
• Create and review results for tests against various software versions
• Collaborate with Development and functional teams to ensure a smooth testing process
• Test product features using sms, email, and voice testing tools, and direct database interaction
• Ensure all requirements and design elements are tested through traceability matrices management
• Have basic understanding of software quality assurance testing and backend testing techniques.

Requirements:

• Strong documentation skills with good troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Strong team player comfortable working with geographically distributed and cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills, including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively
• Basic understanding of software quality assurance testing concepts
• Understanding of backend and test design techniques
• Ability to manage traceability matrices to ensure all requirements and design elements have associated tests
• Understanding of VOIP, SMS and Email providers and integrations to such providers
• Knowledge of PABX Systems
• Proven software/system troubleshooting skills
