Job Title - Front-End Web Developer

Location - South San Francisco, California (Remote)

The Front-End Web Developer will work with a team of Genentech scientists and a UX designer to implement a web-based UI for a new scientific image processing tool for cryo-electron microscopy data using the Blazor SPA framework.

The Developer must be based in the USA, and comfortable communicating with colleagues in the UTC-07:00 (Pacific) and UTC+02:00 (Central Europe) time zones. Although we envision this as a remote position, on-site work on our South San Francisco campus is possible.

 

Required:

– Very good knowledge of C# and JavaScript

– Extensive hands-on experience with Blazor

– Ability to create custom, highly interactive UI components using Blazor and JavaScript

– Experience in working with a UX designer

– Examples of relevant code contributions to shipped projects

Desired:

– Graph (nodes & edges, not plots) rendering and layout algorithms

– Algorithms operating on image data

– Scientific application development and/or support
