• Design, develop, and implement high-quality particle effects and VFX that align with the game’s artistic vision and gameplay mechanics
• Collaborate closely with artists, designers, and other developers to ensure seamless integration of VFX into the game environment
• Optimize effects to ensure they meet performance and platform requirements without compromising their visual quality
• Participate in regular team meetings, providing updates and feedback to ensure the game’s direction aligns with the established vision

• Strong portfolio showcasing your best VFX and particle effects within Roblox or similar platforms
• Extensive experience with Roblox Studio, particularly in the realm of visual effects
• Solid understanding of the technical constraints and opportunities within the Roblox platform
• Familiarity with scripting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members and share knowledge
• Passion for gaming and a deep respect for the Roblox creative process

FireGame’s targeted total compensation rate for a full-time Contractor VFX Developer position based remotely is between $4,000 to $6,000 a month which depends on experience, expertise, internal equity within the organization, location, and alignment with market data.
