Basic Duties of a Loan Originator are listed below. For complete description of the position, the hiring manager will provide during the interview process.

  1. Completes residential mortgage loan applications.
  1. Arranges residential mortgage loan credit transactions to meet clients’ needs.
  1. Assists consumers in identifying proper residential mortgage loan products.
  1. Advertises and communicates to the general public loan origination services.
  1. Completes all internal required continuing education courses assigned within in the time they are due.
  1. Exercise proficiency with all technology requirements including, but not limited to: Encompass, Compensafe and Paychex.
  1. Represent FCM, both ethically and professionally, with a positive attitude and demeanor.
  1. Provide superior customer service, while exemplifying the FCM culture in the community.
  1. Uphold all internal and regulatory compliance guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  1. Attend all required staff meetings.
  1. Report hours of work to management when due.
  1. Complete mandatory new employee orientation.
  1. Maintain requirements of the Dodd Frank / NMLS registration process.
  1. Other duties as assigned
