ABS Product & Support Specialist - UK

T-REX is seeking an ABS Product & Support Specialist in the United Kingdom to join our firm’s exciting expansion into the UK and European markets on the back of T-REX engaging a landmark Global Investment Bank as our initial strategic European client. The ideal candidate will be a subject-matter-expert (SME) across the structured credit / ABS markets with direct experience in UK & European RMBS being a significant plus. The ABS Product & Support Specialist will collaborate across the Client Development organization, from managing pre-sales engagements, to client and user implementation and onboarding as well as ongoing support. This SME role will be integral to the overall success in this region and globally. 

This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities:  

The ABS Product & Support Specialist is responsible for successfully onboarding clients, enhancing user experience and maximizing potential growth across existing business. The Associate - ABS Product Specialist will also be called upon to leverage their market and product expertise to assist with pre-sale activity, modeling, product development scoping and other related SME requirements. The Associate - ABS Product Specialist will stay current on market and player-type trends, while maintaining a deep knowledge of the T-REX products in relation to asset-class and user-type nuance. Functions will include:

Pre-Sales Engineering: 

  • Assist with pre-sale subject matter expertise
  • Prospect qualification
  • Prospect demonstrations
  • Manage trials and proof-of-concept engagements
  • Create actionable Statements of Work (SOW) 

Onboard & Implement New Clients & Users: 

  • Client engagement scoping
  • Platform implementation and integration
  • Analyze, map out and manage data integrations
  • User onboarding, training and support
  • Escalated modeling support

Provide Reactive & Proactive Advanced User Support: 

  • Advanced training and seminars
  • Quarterly power-user outreach
  • Communicate product enhancement updates
  • Leverage the relevant Sales & Support operations tools (CRM/CSM) to enter client opportunities and issues  
  • Liaise and escalate client issues to our Product and Engineering teams for quick issue resolution   

Maximize Current Client Growth Opportunities: 

  • Implement the maximum amount of Assets Under Management (AUM) onto the T-REX Platform 
  • Increase number of users and individual usage
  • Ensure product “stickiness”
  • Identify and introduce future expansion opportunities to the local sales team 

 Collaborate on Process and Product Improvements: 

  • Escalate product development ideas and prioritization
  • Data operations collaboration
  • Identify and implement process improvements, both internal and external

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years experience in ABS structuring (or related financial products, such as project finance) and understanding of advanced financial concepts
  • Experience working with structured finance platforms and/or custom-built Excel models for securitization and/or financing
  • Experience supporting complex solutions for financial institutions, across any sector of the investment lifecycle
  • Client facing experience (internal or external), ideally in a support role with a consultative approach to problem solving
  • Be a problem-solver, willing to take initiative and get the bottom of the most complex issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex topics and models to people with varying backgrounds
  • Team player and a self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive processes across the team
  • Experience working in an early stage, developing region at a high growth start-up environment.
