I-COM is a Global association helping Smart Data Marketers to holistically transform their business as well as themselves, personally.

Smart Data Marketing is the art of creatively leveraging value from Data to create competitive advantage in products, customer experience and promotion / advertising. We organise forums & competitions that showcase meaningful innovation and best practices. I-COM was founded in 2004, a spin-off of a P&G led industry initiative. I-COM Membership is a vehicle to help companies accelerate their transformation via Smart Data Marketing. 



ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of I-COM’s strategic development plan, we are seeking a Business Researcher with experience working in the advertising industry and knowledge of structure dynamics in the industry to join our team; and support in growing the number and value of our members and sponsors. In addition to, researching and scoping new business leads. The Business Researcher’s role will be to work with our Membership team on identifying new business opportunities, both external and internal in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow.

DURATION


15-20 hours per week, long term, remote working. Hours must have some cross over Central European Time to allow for coordination with a mostly European team.

REPORTING STRUCTURE


The person will be under the direct supervision of Chairman and  Operation Director 


RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Research around the landscape and connected research with our initiatives with our landscape

  • Researching for relevant individual in the landscape companies to Generate leads for our sales pipeline

  • Meet regularly with the team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum two years experience in Marketing & Advertising Industry

  • Have a healthy understand and sincere interest in the structure dynamics, players and trends in Smart Data Marketing Industry. Landscape is up to date

  • Process Orientation: Strong orientation toward structured processes and methodologies.

  • Pursuit of Excellence: Ambition towards excellence.

  • Growth:  Sincere desire for personal and professional development.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a professional business standard. Friendly, professional, and discreet in all client interactions.

  • Task Management: Capable of autonomously prioritizing and organizing daily workloads while consistently meeting deadlines. Must take ownership of assigned tasks.

  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with keen attention to detail. Proactive and capable of problem-solving. Must excel at multitasking and be able to work independently, following established processes and protocols.

  • Autonomous Work: Ability to work with minimal direct guidance once familiar with the workflow and typical responsibilities.

  • Software Proficiency: Proclivity towards technology.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Willingness to collaborate on various projects and with different departments, promoting a cross-functional approach.

  • Team Player:  A valuable team member who works effectively with colleagues.

  • Language: English is the native language.

Nice to Have:

  • CRM System Experience: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, particularly Zoho CRM or similar platforms, would be a plus.

  • Proficiency in using iCloud and Google Suite apps, and familiarity with Zoho Suite (desirable: Zoho CRM, doodle, Google Calendar). This includes the ability to navigate and efficiently utilize these applications.
