UX Developer

This is an opportunity for a skilled UX Developer with at least three years experience working with Moodle and or Totara LMS to join the award winning team at Synergy Learning as we work together to deliver a Wow customer experience.

You will thrive on teamwork and have a hunger to use your development skills to deliver exceptional results that exceed expectations. Please note that while this is a remote first role, we cannot consider applicants from outside the UK or Republic of Ireland.

Essential Criteria - You must have:

• Residency, along with the right to work in UK or Ireland
• A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• 3+ years development experience in Moodle LMS
• Strong knowledge of Moodle LMS administration, including installation and configuration.
• Excellent knowledge of HTML and Css
• PHP development experience
• Experience in using Javascript Frameworks
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (SCSS / LESS)
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Excellent knowledge of web accessibility standards
• A proven track record of testing, debugging and addressing development issues (e.g. Cross Browser compatibility issues)

To work collaboratively with the UX circle to bring customer requirements&design concepts into reality.

You must be fundamentally customer driven, with a focus on the user experience, making the learning platforms visually impressive and developed to the highest standard of usability.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing professional user interfaces for learning platforms such as Moodle/Totara
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to guarantee high quality, on-time and on-budget projects
• Delivering optimum results for customers
• Conducting UX consultancy sessions to deliver project requirements
• Ensuring the highest quality of design, implementation&internal/external documentation
• Collaborating with non-technical staff in emerging web development techniques & best practises
• Providing accurate task estimations
