JOB SUMMARY:

The Corporate Development Associate at Argano supports the M&A team in identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisition opportunities. This role involves conducting market research, financial analysis, and due diligence to support strategic decisions. This role involves working closely with senior team members to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and strategic opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify potential M&A targets.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial models, valuations, and due diligence materials.
  • Support the development of transaction-related presentations and reports.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external advisors to gather relevant information.
  • Track and analyze M&A trends and market developments.
  • Support post-merger integration activities as needed.
  • Prepare presentation materials for senior management and board meetings.

Education

Minimum and/or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • 1-2 year of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or consulting.
  • Experience with financial modeling and valuation techniques.

Skill Requirements

  • Financial Analysis and Modeling: Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence processes.
  • Accounting Principles: Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting/statements.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
