Job description

Overview of the Position:

You will bring expertise to the backend team, working on the design and implementation of new features which require high scalability. You will also be involved in the development of integrations with our customers’ systems and internal tools used by the support and sales team.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of scalable .NET and SQL Server solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
Collaborative Architecture: Work with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and design patterns, providing insights for robust, maintainable solutions.
Code Development and Review: Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews to uphold quality standards. Mentor junior team members.
Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimizing application scalability and responsiveness.
CI/CD Implementation: Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
Data Management: Design and optimize database structures and queries for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system health, implement logging and alerting mechanisms, and proactively address issues.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create technical documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to disseminate best practices.
Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on emerging technologies, evaluate their potential adoption, and advocate for innovation.
Customer-Centric Focus: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and deliver solutions that meet customer needs and drive business outcomes.

Requirements

Proficient in .NET framework
Strong command of SQL Server, including database design, optimization, and query performance tuning
Extensive experience architecting scalable systems, demonstrating the ability to design robust, high-performance solutions that can handle increasing loads gracefully
Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for building modular, scalable applications
Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and their complexities, with the ability to choose the most appropriate ones for different scenarios

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience in building CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes and ensure continuous integration and deployment
Solid understanding of full-text search mechanisms and technologies, enabling efficient information retrieval from large datasets
Knowledge of distributed systems architecture and best practices for building fault-tolerant and resilient applications
Familiarity with Terraform and Azure, leveraging infrastructure as code principles to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently.
