Job description

Hiring Technical Architect for  a Reputed/MNC company located at Mohali (Work from Home)

Requirements
As a Node.js Architect , you will lead the design and development of complex web applications and services. You will be responsible for creating scalable, high- performance architectures that meet the needs of our clients and align with our strategic goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure Node.js applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable and efficient code is produced.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, DevOps, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve application performance and scalability.
  • Security Best Practices: Ensure that applications are developed with a strong focus on security, addressing vulnerabilities and implementing necessary protections.
  • Technology Evaluation: Stay current with industry trends, evaluate new technologies, and make recommendations for adoption to improve development processes and product quality.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, technical specifications, and guides to support the development and maintenance of applications.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to plan, prioritize, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused n Node.js.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale applications and distributed systems
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express, Koa, NestJS).
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of database systems, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior developers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
