Test Lead - DV Cleared -Cheltenham - Contract

Test Lead - Outside IR35 Contract  - 6 months minimum

Cheltenham - Onsite 5 days 

Must Hold Valid UK  DV clearance

Are you an experienced test lead with a track record of delivering testing projects successfully? Can you lead and inspire a team of testers to work together to get the job done? We are looking for contractors to join our team and help deliver on one of our testing projects. Your role will involve providing specialist testing advice to our customers and delivering on that advice. You will be accountable for managing your testing on projects within the program. As a consequence of your testing activities, you will supply stakeholders with the data they require to be able to make informed decisions in respect to solution or component suitability to progress to the next development stage or for release into production. You will also be expected to contribute to test estimation as and when required.

Test is changing and we understand that everyone has their strengths so whether you lean more into core Test Automation and QA (Cypress, Selenium, Robot etc.) or Test Infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker etc.) we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Design & develop robust and scalable test frameworks using modern technologies and best practices.
• Get involved in the entire software development life cycle from requirements gathering to design, implementation, test and deployment.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product, development & UX.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers contributing to the overall team’s growth.

Specific Experience

• Experience as a QA/Test Engineer with a strong focus on automated tooling (Cypress, Selenium, Robot, Cucumber, Molecule, JMeter).
• Familiarity with CICD, containerisation, deployment technologies & cloud platforms (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Terraform, Ansible).
• Excellent communication, collaboration & problem solving skills, ideally with some experience in agile ways of working.
