We’re currently hiring an EDC Programmer to join our team in the US! In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Data Management across the life cycle of a study to coordinate and support technical aspects of Rave EDC build, including CRF development, edit check programming, and other components within the Architect module. This role serves as the technical lead on study-specific EDC configuration. You will ensure that the study-specific EDC configuration adheres to the protocol and project timelines and keep the lead data manager informed of any issues that might impact project target dates, scope of work, or budget and will escalate potential problems effectively and in a timely manner. You will need to balance multiple project and task assignments and interface with other functional team members and clients to support EDC configuration.

Responsibilities:
- Perform EDC design and development for studies using Medidata Rave
- Create custom CRF pages from a protocol or study specification
- Program edit checks based on a protocol or study specification
- Review study design for compliance within Rave EDC and consistency with Rho standards
- Support post-production system modifications (e.g. database migrations)
- Participate in UAT and validation tasks related to EDC build
- Develop and/or validate data listings for manual data review
- Assist with data review and query management tasks
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree and a minimum of 2 years of Rave EDC study build experience, or 1 year of experience in Rave EDC study build and a Medidata Rave Certified Study Builder certification
- Medidata Rave Study Design and Build Essentials certification preferred.
- Experience with additional programming languages such as Business Objects XI, Business Objects 4.1, and/or SAS is preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and have the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously in support of various projects

As required by pay transparency laws in some states, Rho provides the range of starting compensation (annual salary or hourly rate) it reasonably expects to pay for a given role. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to role responsibilities and location as well as candidate skill set and level of experience. The range of starting pay for this role is $85,000-$100,000 per year.
