This person will cover Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, Youngstown, and Pittsburgh areas.
In this role, you will develop and create demand for Lubrizol’s FlowGuard Gold CPVC products through Key Account Management within a specific geographic area. This role will consist of driving the usage of FlowGuard Gold CPVC to residential builders, plumbing contractors, and ownership groups within the sectors of Single-Family residential plumbing and multi-family residential plumbing. You will also administer sales presentations, conduct market evaluations, build relationships with customers, and provide installation training. Ultimately, your activity in your territory and/or market segment(s) should result in our direct customers’ sales increasing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving loyalty and demand for FlowGuard Gold products through relationships developed at the Builder, Plumbing Contractor, and Ownership level.
- Specification focus at the builder and contractor level to ensure the usage of Lubrizol branded products.
- Territory Management – develop and execute on Individual Territory Plans that allocate effort efficiently across different types of Decision Influencers to optimize our business growth profile.
- Segment focus: Single Family & Multifamily Residential Construction, Plumbing emphasis.
- Close collaboration with Marketing on development and execution of our go-to-market strategies.
- Sponsor and train at product educational events to build interest and demand for FlowGuard Gold CPVC.
- Attend and support trade shows and conferences to promote the benefits of FlowGuard Gold CPVC, both via educational events and those that are customer oriented.
- High quality and timely CRM reporting per established guidelines and assigned KPI’s (Builder L&L’s, Sales activities, Project deals, Specifications, and trainings).
- Develop a thorough understanding of technology, key product attributes, applications, and performance requirements in the focus market segments.
- Identify, develop, and implement business development initiatives that open the available market for our products.
Skills That Make A Difference
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university – Business or Technical, or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of new business development and account management sales experience in Pipes, Valves, and Fittings Sector
- Single Family Residential or Multifamily Residential experience preferred.
- Ability to travel regionally (60%+). Personal car use, Auto Allowance Program provided.
- Demonstrated abilities and successes in implementing new product, solution, technology and value selling programs.
- Excellent sales and communication skills, as demonstrated by the ability to develop and deliver professional presentations.
- Candidate must reside in the territory.
