Salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 (USD) Annually

Responsibilities:

Automate and optimize cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and Ansible, scripting repetitive tasks and ensuring efficient operations.
Support and enhance the engineering platform and CI/CD pipeline, working with technologies like Azure PaaS, Kubernetes, Docker containers, GitHub, Jenkins, and Octopus.
Architect and implement automated solutions to replace manual or inefficient processes, driving continuous improvement.
Provide escalated technical guidance and support to other technology teams across the organization, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
Improve site reliability by implementing detailed telemetry and monitoring based on leading and trailing indicators.
Ensure compliance with security and operational policies, adhering to organizational standards for all solutions and activities.
Identify and implement opportunities for service delivery improvements, developing documentation and runbooks to enhance operational efficiency.
Provide on-call support for IT operations, addressing issues promptly to maintain system uptime and performance.

Skills and Abilities:

Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies using Terraform, and configuration management with Ansible.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Golang.
Advanced knowledge of cloud-based solutions (Azure preferred) including compute, storage, and containerization (Kubernetes).
Strong experience with Microsoft technologies such as Azure IaaS and Windows Server Core/2019+.
Solid understanding of Linux server systems administration (e.g., RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian).
Familiarity with web application technologies such as Azure Web Apps, IIS, and load balancing.
Experience with Agile methodology, DevOps practices, Scrum, ITSM, and/or ITIL principles.
Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively across teams and sharing knowledge.
Proficiency in cloud-based compute, storage, and containerization solutions with a preference for Azure and Kubernetes.
Expertise in traditional and PaaS web application technologies, including Azure Web Apps, IIS, and application load balancing.
