Realistically, you'll be on site 3 days per week, with 2 days of remote working. Must have a full UK driving licence, and requires SC clearance.

Your new role

Being part of the communications function will play a critical role during the mobilisation and life of the contracts; supporting the development of the vision, culture and ways of working for the brand and ensuring that all future employees and customers are informed on key business strategies and initiatives.

This role will see you develop messaging and future communications channels for all supply chain engagement activities, produce a regular drumbeat of comms to the customer community to provide updates on mobilisation progress, build a comprehensive campaign plan and forward-looking calendar of activities to deliver engaging internal communications and collaborate directly with customer sites and content providers to ensure a local approach and relevance to all stakeholders.

There will be frequent liaison with internal departments and the client to understand specific requirements, develop specific messages and to create a broad network of content owners, influencers and senior leaders across the business to support the delivery of the strategic internal communications plan. The engagement side of this role is very important, so it is essential that you are able to travel to different sites at least 3 times a week.

What You'll Need To Succeed

First and foremost, we are looking for an experienced Communications and Engagement Lead from a corporate communications background, with excellent content writing skills and attention to detail. You should have a proven ability to work with and influence a range of stakeholders within a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. It is important that you have experience of leading proactive and engaging internal communications campaigns and have a research-based approach to communications.

This role will involve travelling to sites between Lands End and Catterick in North Yorkshire, so you must have a full UK driving licence, access to your own transport and be able to pass SC Clearance.

What You'll Get In Return

You'll receive a full-time salary equivalent of up to £55,000 plus benefits including car allowance, 6% employee matched pension contribution, 25 days annual leave, and travel will be reimbursed (mileage etc.)

This is initially a 6 month contract.
