Reports to:  Sr. Manager, Accounting

Location:  Remote – US

The Role

The Senior Accountant I will support the daily accounting functions of the Corporate Accounting team.  A strong candidate for this role will have an intellectual curiosity for various accounting areas and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

  • 1. Close the accounting books for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end
  • 2. Prepare monthly reconciliations, audit schedules, and quarter-end or year-end schedules
  • 3. Assist with external audits or reporting
  • 4. Perform other duties or ad-hoc projects as assigned

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in general accounting
  • Thorough and detail oriented
  • Self-starter and problem solver
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP

$90,000 - $95,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
