Senior Cloud Accounting Technician

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping engagements using cloud-based accounting program. Ad-hoc projects such as general ledger typing, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis commentary will be assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Accounting Management:
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of cloud-based accounting systems.
• Ensure the security and integrity of financial data across cloud platforms.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of cloud accounting systems.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Process Optimization:
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes using cloud technology.
• Develop and implement best practices for data management and financial reporting.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding financial performance and system improvements.

Requirements

You'll need to show all of the below to succeed at this role and our firm.

Responsibilities:

• Minimum 4-year bachelor degree in Accounting and Business Administration
• Professional accounting certification is a plus
• Must have experience working with web-based accounting programs such as: Quickbooks Online, Xero etc.
• Minimum 3 years experience working in a full-time accounting or bookkeeping role
• Must have superior English written and verbal communication skills
• Must have worked in a paperless environment with strong process flow
• Proven problem-solving skills. Proven on-point communication and client service skills
• Must have strong business acumen and has the desire to grow within a fast-growing game changing firm
• Must have access to high-speed, reliable and consistent internet connection
• Must adhere to firm privacy policies at all times
