Job Title: Sr. Financial Data Analyst

Hello, our client is in urgent need of a high-level financial data analyst to assist their team in a project focused around preparing for an internal audit for the new year. This client is actively growing as an organization and continuously building out their accounting and finance department, so there is a chance that this position could go permanent upon completion of the contract. The ideal candidate will be able to perform independently while working in a collaborative team setting.

Job Description

• Collects and analyzes student data.
• Performs monthly account reconciliations of student accounts.
• Analyzes and reconciles funding reports in comparison to attendance verification information to ensure timely and complete distributions.
• Analyzes metrics related to reimbursement review pipeline to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Supports other members of the accounting team with invoicing and payments.
• Interfaces with Manager, Financial Systems and Data, Manager, Program Accounting and Manager, Accounts Payable on various analyses to ensure proper payment of program funds.
• Develops understanding of Program Accounting processes to analyze and suggest improvements.

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with other co-workers and departments
• Data analysis on large sets of data in excel
• Trent analysis on historical and current data
• Reconciliations
• Audit preparations
