To work with PWM, you must have an active, unrestricted license to practice psychology based on a doctoral level degree in at least one PSYPACT participating state. In addition, you must have the authority to practice telepsychology under the PSYPACT requirements including holding an E. Passport issued by the ASPPB, have no history of disciplinary action, and provide attestations as such. Psychologists will be treating veterans living in Washington state via telehealth. Veterans and individuals who are experienced with trauma and/or pain management are encouraged to apply. Eligible PSYPACT states include AL, AZ, AR, CO, CNMI, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY.
Licenses: Providers must possess a current psychologist license in a PSYPACT state
Provider Responsibilities
- Complete 25 billable direct-service hours per week, remotely.
- Provide evidenced-based practices to treat mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and trauma. Utilize outcome measures to determine progress.
- Establish and maintain therapeutic rapport with clients throughout the course of treatment.
- Create individualized treatment plans according to client needs and circumstances.
- Meet with clients on a routine, weekly cadence in accordance with the authorization or renewal.
- Maintain scheduling, rescheduling, and on-going communication with clients with the support of the administrative team.
- Report monthly progress summaries to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) to document all clients progress (including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries) in a timely, organized manner.
- Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality as determined by State regulations.
- Conduct audit reviews
- Must have strong computer skills to navigate, troubleshoot, and manage cases in EHR.
Ideal Candidates
- Works collaboratively with the team to enhance best clinical practices.
- Experience working with veterans and the VHA.
- Able to utilize one or more evidence based practices (CBT, DBT, EMDR).
- Fully knowledgeable of DSM-5.
- Knowledgeable in EHR settings to provide clients with basic troubleshooting assistance as necessary.
