Job Summary

Analyze and manage the Customer Master and Pricing segments of SAP/S4 HANA Order-to-Cash Master Data. Advise of Master Data implications and consequences to the organization. Make recommendations to Sales Finance on aligning customer pricing programs with SAP capabilities. Manage the business process development as it relates to SAP functionality.

Master Data

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and accurately implement all master data changes with documentation of required approvals to ensure smooth flow of orders through SAP system into delivery:
    • New Customer set-up forms from customer service/credit.
    • CMIR Table updates with input from sales managers (CMIR table cross reference customer item number with Spectrum SKU).
    • List pricing, program/price group pricing, and customer specific pricing from sales finance.
    • Ownership of Master Data core design and maintenance involving analysis of and decision making on best pricing conditions to use for each item/customer combination.
    • Facilitate internal cross functional team to complete all steps of customer master and pricing processes ahead of deadlines communicated in customer pricing calendar.
    • Serve as Subject Matter Expert to consult organization on Customer Master and Pricing Master matrices capabilities and most effective use of SAP to drive efficient Order-To-Cash processes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve master data issues that relate to customer orders, customer order holds, or impact customer service levels.
      • Assist with price hold resolution.
    • Serve as business consultant by analyzing and reporting business implications related to core design of master data.
    • Develop standard operating procedures while promoting industry best practices.
    • Develop procedures to effectively manage the complex master data components that relate to Customer Master and Pricing.
    • Resolve non-compliance issues
    • Lead business reviews or design sessions to identify, define, and recommend additional master data requirements.
    Education and Experience Profile

    • Bachelor’s degree is required. Supply Chain or Finance degree is preferred.
    • Required 1-2 years of experience within large scale ERP systems. (SAP or JD Edwards preferably).
    • Industries preferred: CPG, supply chain, finance.

    • Ability to excel in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
    • Ability to work independently
