ECS is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer & Tester to work remote. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer & Tester. The candidate will be responsible for managing the test and evaluation strategy and standards for a federal program, overseeing test engineers, and performing requirements testing/validation.
Primary Duties:
Manages test strategy and methodologies for the program (including internal, regression, and User Acceptance Testing), focused on Test Driven Development (TDD).
Develops and maintains Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and integrates live dashboarding against QAP KPIs.
Provides an independent assessment of how the project's software development process is being implemented relative to the defined process and recommends methods to optimize the organization's process.
Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation.
Coordinates and enforces implementation of test strategy across teams.
Collaborates with project management and developers on timing and content of builds, releases, and patches.
Leads the detailed planning and execution of specific testing activities.
Manages and coordinates cross-team testing activities.
Works closely with developers to groom user stories to ensure testing considerations are included; communicate and discuss test plans, results, data analysis, and unresolved problems.
Works with closely with customers to understand requirements, think through functional test scenarios based on the persona, and advise the team on test cases related to the product.
Collects, analyzes, and reports test metrics.
Identifies, analyzes, and tracks risks, communicating statuses, and escalating concerns when needed.
Reads and understands requirements and lead testing of requirements.
Designs tests and builds test data.
Plans and coordinates test scenarios.
Performs non-functional requirements testing like usability, performance, and scalability.
Establishes and documents test procedures.
Creates project test documents such as a Requirements Traceability Matrix, Test Management Plans, and Test Summary Reports.
Collaborates with development team to be a champion of quality across development lifecycle.
Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00
