Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst.

Description:


The Senior Financial Analyst is an integral member of the Software finance organization with key deliverables that provide frequent exposure to senior leaders in the finance team and HMI. This role is primarily responsible for managing, budgeting and forecasting expenses related to multiple Software business units in addition to creating detailed financial models to project monthly cost estimates, adjustment schedules, proformas, and other financial metrics. The individual will also assist in cost benefit analysis, and various ad hoc analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and financial forecasts
  • Serve as a strategic business partner for members of the product management and development team
  • Analyze financial performance, support product leaders to drive revenue growth, and improve margin and efficiency
  • Work closely with executive teams on the annual budget exercise (financial and operating budget) and ensure programmatic success
  • Monthly and quarterly Reconciliation of Profit and Loss statements against budget and forecast in support of C-level report outs
  • Identify and/or support efficiency projects to streamline internal operations


Qualifications:

  • 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A roles, preferably at a software company
  • 2+ years of budget, planning and forecasting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Solid understanding of accounting process, general knowledge of GAAP and/ or IFRS and cash management
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote
