Job Description
The
Sales Demand Planner II is responsible to use data (market trends, customer insights, and historical data) to Forecast Demand for Pool sales channel. In close collaboration with Sales Strategy & Execution team, this position will create reports, hold meetings & find other ways to communicate sales insights with Operation, Scheduling, and Procurement teams to optimize inventory management and improve products/parts availability.
This position supports our
Raypak division, based in
Oxnard, CA or can be done remotely.
Responsibilities
- Create, Maintain, and update Pool Sales PBI dashboards
- Monitor monthly sales and inventory for Pool products and parts. Coordinate inventory pre-builds with Manufacturing to compensate for periods of capacity limitations
- Communicate potential inventory, customer service gaps, or risks to cross functional partners and internal stakeholders
- Work with the Supply Chain to identify opportunities for improvements related to capacity planning, productivity, and availability
- Lead Sales forecast considering inputs from statistical models, sales and marketing insights, and other analysis while collaborating with cross functional teams.
- Review, scrub and analyze the forecast through scrutiny of variances, historical sales trends including rolling averages, year over year data, research of demand drivers, and other customer and market related changes
- Ensure that the agreed forecast is passed accurately and at the appropriate level of detail to the production planning systems, on a timely basis
- Escalate any supply chain related issues for awareness and action using the correct sense of urgency
- Manage various ad-hoc reports from large, complex data sets using Excel
- Improvement and automation of supporting processes.
- Works under some supervision of department leadership with independence on projects in scope.

Qualifications
- 3 + years of experience in demand planning and sales forecasting
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s in data Analytics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- Business Intelligence Tool: Extensive experience with POWER BI & DAX
- Data manipulation: SQL (advanced) and familiarity with Python
- Experience in demand planning software such as Oracle, JDE, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.

The Pay scale of this role based in Colorado and Washington is $ 62,100 - $94,400. The pay scale for this position in California, New York, or Connecticut is $67,068 - $107,352. Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria.
