Overview

Purpose Statement: Full Service Partnership: FSP provides intensive and field- based mh services to children, adolescents and young adults (ages 0-20) and their families. Requires evening and weekends (24/7) crisis coverage. Client population include individuals with psychiatric hospitalizations, DCFS involvement and/or clients who are at risk for suspension or expulsion from school.

This is a great opportunity for a licensed Psychotherapist II to work in the Behavioral Health Institute (BHI) Program to serve as the provider of outpatient mental health services to children and adolescents who are coping with complex healthcare needs and are identified as having behavioral health concerns. The ideal candidate would be responsible for intake assessment, treatment planning and providing psychotherapy to a defined caseload of patients and their families, with the opportunity to work with interdisciplinary teams, including our interdisciplinary feeding clinic. The ideal candidate will be expected to effectively communicate and coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team members across CHLA and collaborate on treatment goals and interventions.

Minimum Qualifications: Two years of Post-Masters experience in a child, adolescent or family mental health setting. Previous work with children with feeding difficulties, in a healthcare setting preferred. Bilingual Spanish is required.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: MA/MS Degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy. Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapist. AHA BLS certification required.

Pay Scale Information

$80,288.00-$144,518.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
