Space Future Operations Planner

You’ll apply subject matter expertise to a Command's analysis and development of campaign plans, contingency plans, operations plans, orders, and concepts of operations and participate in exercise planning and execution. On our team, you’ll contribute to the development of orders that meet strategic- and operational-level objectives. You will mature staff relationships and decision-making processes, and expand and refine roles between the client and subordinate, adjacent, and higher commands. You’ll assist with the planning, integration, execution, and coordination of future space effects to operations, and perform directed analysis of specific issues of concern regarding the framing of complex space and Cyber-centric problem sets within the client.

You Have:
4+ years of experience with operational and technical military planning, development, coordination, and execution of Joint, Coalition, and Service participation in Combatant Command operations, exercises, demonstrations, experiments, and real-world operations
Knowledge of Combatant Command planning processes and Joint Publication 5-0 and Joint Publication 3-14
Ability to travel 25% of the time
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience as staff at a Major Command
Experience with deliberate and crisis action planning coordination and development in the Space domain
Knowledge of the Joint Planning and Execution Services (JPES), Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP), Adaptive Planning and Execution System (APEX), or Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
Graduate of a Mid or Senior-level Professional Military Education, including Service-level Command and Staff Colleges
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
