This is a remote position.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Recruiter/Generalist to join our team in Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local labor market and HR practices, and be able to recruit effectively, onboard, and support our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment:
- Source and screen qualified candidates for open positions using various methods (e.g., job boards, social media, referrals).
- Conduct interviews and assess candidates' suitability for roles.
- Extend job offers and manage the onboarding process.
Employee Relations:
- Handle employee inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with performance management processes, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.

HR Administration:

Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Process payroll and benefits.
Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Talent Acquisition Strategy:

Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 4 years of experience in HR, preferably in Africa.

Strong understanding of local labor laws and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in English and at least one local language.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience using HR management systems (HRMS).
