Students complete their foundational studies in Barbados, West Indies, before completing their clinical training in one of Ross's affiliated teaching hospitals throughout the United States.   The Exam Center Administrator will execute and support the mission of the Curriculum Office for Academic Examinations. This position requires proficiency in using ExamSoft Software which is our current assessment tool. Further, the Exam Administrator will support the Curriculum Office and provide guidance to faculty in the development and administration of exams. Further, this position includes supervision of exam proctors.

Responsibilities

  • Management of question banks and compilation of examinations.
  • Centralized scheduling of formative and summative exams, assessments, quizzes, case studies, and surveys.
  • Planning, and administration of exams
  • Responsible for the accurate reporting of all examination results
  • Develop training program for all new and existing faculty in support of the academic examination process.
  • The Exam Center Administrator is involved with the IT Support Team to plan/determine needs for faculty support and training.
  • The Exam Center Administrator collaborates with Curriculum Office staff, in partnership with IT, during semester transitions, to prepare student rosters and future exams.
  • The Exam Center Administrator is required to sit in on vendor support calls and be involved in troubleshooting as needed.
  • Provide real-time proctoring and technical assistance for exams
  • Assist more senior Exam Center Staff with special accommodations when provided.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Experience working with ExamSoft assessment software Preferred
  • Strong proficiency required in the Microsoft Office suite of applications with special emphasis on Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge and ability to work with multimedia and incorporate different file types into assessments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The position requires the demonstrated ability to stay calm during power outages, software issues or any unexpected situations that may arise. The Exam Center Administrator must be able to communicate and provide instructions regarding backup plans or make decisions on the spot that are consistent with Curriculum Office policies and procedures.Proficiency in the use of Adobe Acrobat is necessary.
