CHANNEL SALES MANAGER EXPORT & B2C ROLE
We are looking for a high performing Channel Sales Manager- Export & B2C to join our company at an exciting phase of growth.
Our Client is East Africa's leading consumer plastics brand, with an integrated supply chain setup that includes manufacturing and distribution across multiple channels. Our Client is presently undergoing a transformation to become a world class company, which is values led, process driven, has a high performing organization and is focused on growth.
The purpose of this role is to lead the Export and B2C Channels for our client , transition from a manufacturing business to become a consumer-led company. This includes implementing a channel sales strategy, driving growth within the channels, market research, and input to the product development process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute an export sales strategy. Ownership for sales and volume growth in the segment.
Open new markets and relationships, and expand regional coverage.
Develop and execute a B2C sales strategy. Research, priorities, and execute target list.
Manage the export process, including invoicing, documentation, and export loading & customs.
Benchmark and propose pricing changes, including special promotional offers.
Analyse channel sales data and develop actionable insights.
Manage existing customer relationships, satisfaction levels, and ensure continued business volume.
Develop market insights and incorporate them into sales strategy. Map route to market.
Involvement and leadership of departmental projects from time to time.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
A track record of high-performance in a related role.
Account management experience, including order cycle management.
A good understanding of data, including analysis and developing actionable insights.
Experience in market research and integrating this into a sales approach.
Export management experience, ideally including documentation requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to coordinate across multiple internal and
external stakeholders.
Candidates with an existing B2C network in Kenya will have an advantage.
Financial experience is an advantage, but not necessary.
FMCG, or other mass-market consumer knowledge and experience.
