Job description

What we are looking for:

Tripoint Solutions is seeking a highly skilled SAS Viya Architect to lead and guide our project through delivery. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in designing, deploying, and managing SAS Viya environments to Azure. The role requires a strong background in SAS Al/Client modelling, particularly within SAS Enterprise Guide, to lead advanced analytics initiatives.

Location: Remote with occasional travel to North Carolina required. This is a temporary opportunity of approximately 60 days in length.

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

Conduct requitements definition.
Deploying SAS Viya onto clients Azure Environment:
Provide Authority to Operate support (ATO)
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during deployment;
Work closely with data scientists and analysts to build predictive models and machine learning solutions.
Implement and monitor models to ensure they perform optimally in production environments.
Provide advanced support and guidance in the use of SAS Enterprise Guide for data management, analysis, and reporting.
Collaboration and Leadership:
Act as the primary point of contact for all SAS-related projects, liaising with cross-functional teams, including IT, data science, development, and business units.
Lead a team of SAS professionals, providing technical guidance and ensuring best practices in SAS development and deployment.

What you bring:

Experience, Education & Training:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
Extensive experience with SAS Viya architecture, including deployment, management, and optimization.
Knowledge of cloud platforms Azure and their integration with SAS Viya.
Demonstrated expertise in security controls
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Clearance Requirements:

Active Top Secret Clearance Required
