About the Position:

The Head of Sales will be responsible for growing the business by acquiring new sales globally as well as driving and increasing sales revenue across the company’s existing client base in the United Kingdom, France, Ireland and the United Arab Emirates. This is a ‘remote’ position, operating preferably from Cape Town, South Africa.  The position will be the custodian and architect of the global sales strategy, will lead and accept responsibility for growing the existing business and expanding the business into new markets. The position will oversee, manage, and lead a group of internationally based Sales Executives and will be responsible to develop and grow a highly motivated and engaged sales team globally.


Duties & Responsibilities

- Design the short and long term global strategic sales plan;

- Develop and implement effective global sales strategies to achieve or exceed company revenue and sales and targets

- Lead and manage a global sales executive team that consistently meet and exceeds sales targets;

- Drive a culture of high performance and accountability within the sales team;

- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, setting clear performance goals and providing ongoing support and development for all sales team members;

- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to drive sales growth across the business;

- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends for new global growth opportunities;

- Oversee the ‘sales pipeline’ and ensure an active and ‘qualified’ sales pipeline is kept that is conducive for business growth;

- Prepare and present sales reports and performance metrics to senior management;

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

- Collaborate with the marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales strategies with the overall business goals.

- With the guidance of the Training Manager, develop and conduct training programs to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.

 

Qualifications & Work Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field;

- 5 to 7 years of sales management experience, in preferably the property technology industry or real estate industry;

- Proven track record of achieving and/or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to analyse sales data and market trends.

- Proficiency in using Pipedrive CRM and other sales tools.

- Experience in developing and implementing training programs for sales teams.

- Ability to implement key performance metrics and drive sales effectiveness.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans effectively.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
