Government Relations:

  • Drive the implementation Public Affairs and Government Relations strategy, building relationships with key government and community stakeholders at local, regional and national levels.
  • Work closely with senior management to shape government engagement and expansion strategies, addressing policy issues impacting the industry.
  • Identify and create partnerships with like-minded organizations to support expansion into new markets across the region.
  • Position as a thought leader in sustainable mobility and technology by securing opportunities to participate in relevant discussions, events, and conferences.
  • Monitor and gather intelligence on legislative, policy, and regulatory changes that could impact operations, evaluating their potential effects and ensuring the company’s readiness

Market Expansion:

  • Identify and evaluate potential new markets for micro-mobility services across Europe.
  • Develop and execute market entry strategies, including regulatory compliance, permits, and partnerships, to ensure successful launches in new cities.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals, tender applications, and strategies to secure new market opportunities and operating permits.
  • Monitor and analyze market performance, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal results,

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Strategy, and Communications teams to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for city regulators, managing outreach and communications with stakeholders and local councils.
  • Develop and deliver compelling marketing materials and presentations to promote solutions and growth initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

  • Over five years of experience in Public Affairs, Government Relations, or Market
  • Expansion, with a background in both the public and private sectors.
  • Proven experience in market expansion and operations management, preferably in the transportation or micro-mobility industry.
  • Strong understanding of local regulations and permits related to micro-mobility services.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong network within government and the tech industry, with a proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure, with a track record of delivering results.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, along with leadership and team management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, creative, and self-motivated, with a commitment to sustainability and innovation.
  • A positive, adaptable attitude, with a willingness to travel as required.
