Role Description
Inside Sales is responsible for assisting the Central Eastern Europe Media Sales Team in selling Harmonic’s solutions throughout the Europe.
What you will be doing:
  • Develop knowledge of Harmonic’s products and services offerings.
  • Know or learn the technology and terminology utilized in the industry.
  • Gain an understanding our customer's business and technology environment, as well as the market trends effecting our client’s future commercial strategies.
  • Align those client data points with Harmonic’s existing products and services and seek synergies in our technology roadmap with the clients current and future requirements.
  • Be able to professionally articulate the client’s requirements with Harmonic CEE regional sales staff and CEE pre-sales engineering team enabling engagement with Harmonic Engineering, Research & Development and Product Development teams to help guide solution development for your client’s specific needs and the Media Market as a whole.
  • Maximize revenue and customer satisfaction for target Accounts/Markets within the United States by assisting the CEE sales team.
  • Actively work with the CEE sales team to pursue new customers and business opportunities
  • Act as an alternative resource during the unavailability of CEE salespeople
  • Understand, articulate, and document the business and technical needs of CEE customers to propose the appropriate Harmonic solution(s).
  • Provide input to CEE sales team to aid in the development and implementation of sales opportunity plans in support of company goals and quota objectives.
  • Effectively engage sales resources – technical pre-sales, product management, program management, channel partners, executive team and legal – to support the successful closure of business by developing customer centric solutions based on the specific needs of the customer.
  • Collaborate with CEE sales team to respond to RFI/RFPs, create proposals, develop ROI and TCO analysis

  • Exceptional understanding of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Detailed knowledge of Salesforce; Oracle, Tableau and Apttus are a plus
  • Poses presentation skills, with written and oral communications ability
  • Willingness to place outbound phone calls and participate in email campaigns to potential prospects and customers
  • Sales experience required
  • Sales Channel experience is a plus
  • BA/BS degree desired, technical field preferred

Some travel may be required subject to business needs.
