This role designs and delivers system solutions to support both new initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within IT development across the Global Organization whilst ensuring that they support the overall company goals and IT strategies.

Your Impact
The primary function of this role, includes but are not limited to:
- Working with Deckers technology team to identify and implement the most optimal Integration solutions for the company.
- Design and architect iPaaS integrations using Boomi in various business areas pertaining to SaaS and on-premises applications.
- Define and gather requirements and conduct design sessions for technical solutions.
- Develop, test, and document integration solutions and data migration elements of various business applications and Analytics domain.
- Establish best design and implementation practices to deliver scalable integration solutions.
- Design, development, and deployment of Integration solutions for Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid scenarios.
- Design and build transaction monitoring dashboards using Boomi Flows.
- Work with cross-functional teams and document detailed integration Process flows.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, business partners and collaborate well within a team environment to drive results.
- Embrace new technologies and work with various tools and technologies to achieve desired functionality.
Who You Are
- Knowledge of data integration patterns and approaches (APIs, Microservices, Pub/Sub, Batch, Streaming, etc.)
- Advanced understanding of JSON, XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, and WADL.
- Experience facilitating application integration architecture discussions and workshops.
- Experience breaking down customer/user experiences from functional requirements into technical requirements.
- Knowledge about API design standards, patterns, and best-practices especially Swagger, REST, SOAP.
- Experience with Boomi Atom/Molecule on-prem, Cloud and Hybrid platforms.
- Knowledge on Knowledge of authentication, authorization of services via OAuth 2.
- Experience working with ANSI X12, Boomi AS2 configuration, REST, and SOAP, JMS connectors/listeners.
- Ability to program in at least one of the following: Java, Groovy, JavaScript, Python, SQL.
- Experience with XML, SOA integration, and API Management technologies.
- Strong ability in designing reusable and highly performant solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
We’d love to hear from people with
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent applied experience.
- Certification on Boomi or other cloud Integration technologies are a plus.
- 7 years of total experience in software engineering.
- 4 years of experience in developing application integration solutions in Boomi Integration Platform-as-a-Service.
- Background in Retail Industry with enterprise application development or similar areas are preferred.

$130,000 - $140,000
The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
