YOUR ROLE

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Finance Managers on the overall financial management of client work.  This includes but is not limited to maintaining complete and accurate files, executing financial reporting, billing of fees and monitoring out of pocket expenses.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build effective relationships with client teams to ensure delivery of desired results
  • Assist with weekly financial reporting to the client teams
  • Work with the client team to review job detail/tracking and conduct financial reconciliations of out-of-pocket expenses
  • Manage all execution of client invoicing according to contracted billing agreements
  • Facilitate coordination and processing of vendor invoicing
  • Consolidate and maintain updated electronic job jacket files with appropriate support documentation
  • Responsible for management of A/R reporting and follow-up
  • Oversee Purchase Order Initiation and Coordination
  • Serve as the Primary Liaison for Vendor Onboarding and Management
  • Maintain Clean WIP Balances through Diligent Monitoring and Reconciliation
  • Ad hoc reporting as needed based on the evolving needs of the department and agency

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance preferred
  • 2-5 years’ experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-Motivated individual who likes challenges and can work well with others
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
