Job description

Grove is looking for a Finance Manager to join our growing FP&A team! In this role, you’ll play a critical part in driving financial strategy and supporting decision-making with executive leadership, directly impacting strategic opportunities across the company.

YOUR IMPACT

Collaborate with merchandise and physical product teams to identify and drive growth opportunities, focusing on pricing strategies, margin optimization, and category expansion initiatives

Distill complex financial data into actionable information, build and maintain financial models, analyze new trends and initiativesSupport long range strategy, annual planning and forecasting processes

Assist with investor communication, earnings materials, executive reporting, board presentations, fundraising, and M&A diligence as necessaryIdentify opportunities to enhance and scale our financial planning tools, ensuring they evolve with the business to deliver actionable insights

Advise executives on financial performance, KPIs, and identify potential areas of improvement

Support teams across the company with various projects including ROI analyses, new opportunity assessments and general budget variance analysisEnsure reporting accuracy before each month’s final close with Accounting

Perform ad-hoc modeling and analysis to address evolving business needs, as required

ABOUT YOU

5+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance or FP&A in a high-growth startup or tech-driven environmentDirect-to-consumer, Retail or CPG experience a plus

Self-starter with a bias for action who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can accelerate the team’s potentialAdaptable and forward-thinking with a strong attention to detail, capable of diving deep into numbers while keeping the big picture in mind

Strong handle on the three financial statements and how business decisions impact each

Proven ability to build trusting relationships with business partners and present to executives

Highly organized, with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously

Experience with financial planning software and ERP systems such as Adaptive or Netsuite

Exceptional proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; comfort with large datasets
