The Role

We are seeking a skilled PEGA Software Engineer to be a key contributor to our agile software development efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing cloud-based financial applications using cutting-edge PEGA technology. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define business requirements, develop automated workflows, and ensure the highest quality of code.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in an agile, collaborative environment to design, implement, and test cloud-based financial applications
• Perform peer reviews using software engineering principles, patterns, and development guidelines
• Partner with customers to develop innovative solutions that achieve business goals
• Work closely with product owners to define business feature requirements
• Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for supported products and environments
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 6 years of relevant software development experience
• Expertise in automating workflows using PEGA software
• Proficiency in working with relational databases, such as Postgres
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and self-learning skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in developing Java-based software and writing unit tests and integration tests
• Experience with Spring, Python, Terraform, Linux, and containerization
