ALSAC’s Internship Program offers an immersive experience where interns dive into our culture, contribute to organizational goals through meaningful projects, and build relationships with team members and senior leadership. Over the course of 10 weeks, interns are paired with a day-to-day manager and given significant assignments, gaining a true understanding of what it means to be part of ALSAC/St. Jude. Recognized as one of the top 100 internship programs in the U.S. in 2022 by WayUp and Yello, our program is designed to be impactful and enriching.

  • ALSAC Summer Intern Innovation Project: Throughout the internship, interns will connect with innovators across ALSAC, learning the art of Design Thinking. Working in teams, they will engage in creative sessions and prepare to present their projects to ALSAC’s CEO and Executive Leadership Team. 

 

Program Details 

  • Start Date: June 2, 2025  

  • End Date: August 8, 2025  

  • Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)  

  • Pay Rate: $14/hour 

  • Work Location: 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105

Requirements  

  • A passion for our mission! 

  • Must be undergraduate, graduate, or graduation as of Spring 2025.  

  • Comfortable with Zoom and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

  • Active participation in the Summer Intern Innovation Project through cross-functional collaboration. 

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality. 

  • Must be 18 years of age or older. 

 

Specific Internship Description and Preferred Skills:  

The Business Continuity & Resiliency team is responsible for empowering dynamic responses to ongoing disruptions through facilitation, governance and consultation in order to protect the organization and St. Jude brand. You’ll be working hand in hand with the team as they advise departments across the organization while getting a view into multiple facets of ALSAC’s business.  

  • Majors preferred: Business, Marketing, Emergency Management, Political Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Science 

  • Experience working with Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA and Confluence. 

  • Projects include working with the team to update Business Impact Analysis, Continuity Plans, assisting with Champion exercises, and iterating on a team metric dashboard in Tableau.  

  • Tasks include making updates in our BC software (Riskonnect), calculating team metrics, updating the team knowledge base and assisting with annual team goals. 

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken), presentation skills, interpersonal savvy and executive presence.
