Working directly with the Chief People & Culture Officer (who is based on the West Coast of the United States), you will own the data, processes, and systems associated with Team Member Payroll, Benefits, and Reporting across our global organization. You will be responsible for processing recurring payroll and payments for our US Teams, Global Entities, and Contractors. You will own data governance practices and integrity across our systems of record (i.e., ADP WorkforceNow, ADP WorkMarket, Celergo, Greenhouse, and several ancillary systems/tools). You will enable the broader People & Culture Team and by extension the global organization with routine and ad-hoc reporting related to the Team Member lifecycle, labor economics, engagement, and compliance. The People Operations Manager is both a hands-on tactician and thought leader, requiring the incumbent to seamlessly blend transactional responsibilities with the creation and implementation of strategic initiatives to continuously improve the People & Culture function.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and process owner for:
- Global payroll (with a focus on the US and Global Contractor Process).
- Global payroll & reporting calendar (i.e., weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, and annual processes).
- HR Systems Administration and related product enhancement roadmaps.
- Global benefits administration with a focus on our core employment markets (i.e., US, China, Hong Kong, India, and the Philippines).
- Recurring & ad-hoc People & Culture reporting for internal/external stakeholders, including for senior leadership and our Board of Directors.
- Team Member changes and data updates (including, but not limited to, New Hires, Transfers, Pay Changes, Promotions, Demotions, and Offboarding).
- Own and process recurring payrolls and payments for the US and our Global Contractors using following established processes and applicable systems.
- Manage one-off payments for separating Team Members, returned payments, or for related items.
- Partner with the Accounting/Finance team to reconcile payroll, payment, and benefit accounts on a recuring basis; this may include the preparation of journal entries or accruals for future/planned payments.
- Partner with the Chief People & Culture Officer in the preparation of the ongoing global payroll forecast as part of the 13-week cash forecast process.
- Maintain benefit enrollments for global Team Members and partner with broker(s) when need for exceptions or special enrollment cases.
- Own the annual benefits planning process with external broker(s), carrier(s), and the broader People & Culture Team to support programmatic changes, open enrollment processes, communications, wellness initiatives, billing, and other changes that impact our offerings.
- Create and maintain an HR systems roadmap of in-progress, planned, and desired programmatic changes, system improvements, enhanced functionality, and upcoming deployments (including performance cycles, compensation cycles, and other cyclical system events).
- Create and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reporting required by the People & Culture Team, boarder business, external stakeholders, and/or Board of Directors. Reporting topics may include headcount, compensation, organizational health, predictive people analytics, or other topics across the full spectrum of the People & Culture Business unit.
- Own, craft, and disseminate communications on behalf of the People & Culture Business Unit related to the full spectrum of the People Operations function, including payroll, benefits, systems, and Team Member data changes/governance.
- Serve as an active member of and contributor to the People & Culture Leadership Team and broader People & Culture Business Unit.
- Develop annual objectives and key results (OKRs) for the People Operations function, including the development of an annual assessment plan to collect qualitative and quantitative feedback as a means of driving continuous improvement across the People Operations function.
- Demonstrate leadership through influence to drive process improvements, completion of cyclical processes, and commitment to other People Operations related programs/requirements.
- Complete other tasks, projects, or deliverables as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer information systems, mathematics, economics, accounting, or closely related discipline. Additional related work experience can be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
- 6+ years closely related work experience, preferably in Human Resources, Payroll, HRIS, People Operations, or Accounting.
- 2+ years working with a multinational corporation. Experience working with global colleagues in the US, China, India, and the Philippines highly desired.
- Demonstrated experience in processing payroll for both US and non-US populations.
- Exceptional MS Excel skills (i.e., vlookup, hlookup, sumif, countif, pivot tables).
- Demonstrated experience using and administering (i.e., provisioning access, maintaining data-structures, and querying information) various HRIS systems. Strong preference for prior experience with ADP WorkforceNow.
- Exceptional written and interpersonal communication; must be comfortable presenting both technical and non-technical information to global audiences via MS Teams or other videoconferencing tools.
- Demonstrated understanding of the HR body of knowledge and legal landscape.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced degree (MBA or Masters) and/or functional certifications (i.e., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CPP, CEBS).
- Demonstrated experience with business intelligence (BI) tools and reporting suites, (i.e., Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau), and the ability to use APIs, queries, and other data tools to ingest and work with large data sets.
- Demonstrated experience with mergers, acquisition, or related integration efforts.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is CRC 17m - CRC 23m annually, and final salary will . This is an indefinite independent contracting position.
