Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement and Proposal Manager with expertise in the public sector market in the United States. In addition to leading and coordinating the development of compelling proposals for government agencies and organizations, you will also be responsible for managing internal knowledge related to all  procurement operations. Your comprehensive understanding of the public sector procurement process, coupled with strong project management and communication skills will be crucial in driving successful procurement operations, bid submissions and supporting Zencity’s growth.




Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Build RFP library and internal resources, including CRM strategy and data collection
  • Manage RFP tools and external systems, ensuring the company is proactively notified of all relevant RFPs  
  • Reseller, channel partner and procurement vehicle evaluation and management, including searching for new vendors, conducting regular business reviews, resolving issues, and fostering collaboration to drive continuous process improvement
  • Contract strategy, negotiation and compliance: Negotiating T&Cs, improving terms, managing contract lifecycle and pricing optimization
  • End-to-end procurement operations management, including CPQ (Dealhub) management and improvement
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance, to create alignment and easy-to-use procurement processes


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or sourcing in the public sector or GovTech
  • Proven negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities
  • Detail oriented and proactive
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability and preference to work in a dynamic, high-paced environment
  • Preferred: CPQ tool management experience
  • Preferred: Certification in Procurement (e.g., CPP, CPSM, CPM).
  • Preferred: Experience with ERP or procurement software (e.g., SAP, Coupa)
