Role Title: AJO Platform Architect

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced AJO (Adobe Journey Optimizer) Architect to join our dynamic digital marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the discovery, configuration, and deployment of AJO-based digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather business requirements and technical specifications from clients and internal stakeholders to inform platform solutioning and campaign development
• Develop in-depth knowledge of client businesses and available data to ensure platform configurations align with marketing objectives
• Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for platform configuration, data schemas, and system integrations
• Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of platform work completed by the development team
• Provide technical platform expertise and support to internal and client teams
• Collaborate with the project management team to manage workflow and deadlines across multiple, simultaneous platform-related projects
• Contribute to platform and schema optimizations as needed
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related business or technology field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with Adobe Journey Optimizer and/or Journey Orchestration, with at least 1 year in Journey Optimizer
• Demonstrated experience leading 3+ platform implementation projects
• Familiarity with common AJO tasks, such as Channel Surfaces, Data Sources, Events, Actions, Audience Definition, and Decision Management
• Experience with non-native activation, i.e., journey orchestration in AJO with customer interaction via external systems
• Proficiency in JSON, XML, HTML, MJML, and CSS
• Solid understanding of digital marketing execution processes, audience segmentation, industry best practices, and communication legal compliance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Adobe Journey Optimizer certification
• Experience as a data modeler
• Agency experience, with 2+ years in a client-facing role
• Knowledge of agile project management methodologies
• Familiarity with a variety of marketing automation platforms and marketing cloud solutions
