Position Summary:

Reviews and reconciles assigned general ledger accounts and resolves any discrepancies; participates in the preparation of Hospital financial statements and reports, and in their analysis; prepares tax returns, and monthly statements for miscellaneous notes and accounts receivable; provides information and assistance to the external auditors; and assists in conducting account reconciliation and financial.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Two (2) years college level accounting courses.

Preferred:

  • Associate Degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • One (1) year experience in an accounting or financial support role and proven knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and procedures
  • Two (2) years’ experience and knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO and Managed Care functions.
