Job description

On behalf of our client - a rapidly growing and innovative iGaming slots development studio - we are on the lookout for an experienced Back-end Tech Lead to join their dynamic team and take a leadership role in driving technical excellence across projects.  


Requirements:


  • Languages proficiency: Intermediate level of English, Fluent/native level of Ukrainian or Russian languages.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead in a development environment.
  • 5+ years of backend development experience, with 4+ years specializing in Node.js.
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, NestJS, PHP, and database design with tools like PostgreSQL, Redis, and OpenSearch.
  • Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ and cloud/on-premise environments, particularly AWS.
  • Experience with tools like GitLab, TeamCity, ArgoCD, Grafana, and Prometheus.
  • Expertise in designing efficient database schemas.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a track record of managing and guiding development teams.


Responsibilities:


  • Architect, design, and oversee technical solutions for multiple projects.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and promote best practices to ensure clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps to optimize infrastructure for CI/CD, monitoring, and system reliability.
  • Design, implement, and enhance APIs, ensuring robust data security and integrity.
  • Identify technical solutions to meet evolving business needs and drive implementation.
  • Mentor and support the professional growth of backend developers.
  • Manage task planning, team workflows, and task decomposition effectively.
  • Respond to and resolve system incidents promptly to ensure seamless operations.
