Job description

The Role:

Joining Moderna offers the unique opportunity to be part of a pioneering team that's revolutionizing medicine through mRNA technology with a diverse pipeline of development programs across various diseases. As an employee, you'll be part of a continually growing organization working alongside exceptional colleagues and strategic partners worldwide, contributing to global health initiatives. Moderna's commitment to advancing the technological frontier of mRNA medicines ensures a challenging and rewarding career experience with the potential to make a significant impact on patients' lives worldwide.

Moderna is solidifying its presence within our international business services hub in Warsaw, Poland, a city renowned for its rich scientific and technological heritage. This hub provides critical functions, meeting the growing demand of Moderna’s global business operations. We're inviting professionals from around the world to join our mission and contribute to the future of mRNA medicines.

Are you ready to take a front seat in the journey of disrupting global healthcare? Moderna is seeking a forward-thinking, proactive, and hands-on Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the growth of our Moderna Excellence Service Hub in Warsaw.

As a key interface between internal leaders and the external marketplace, you will act as a true ‘talent advisor,’ discovering, assessing, and connecting with top talent to match them with exceptional career opportunities at Moderna. This role requires expertise in biopharma recruitment, a sense of urgency, meticulous attention to process, and a willingness to question conventions. The successful candidate will thrive in managing ambiguity and maintaining a strong results-oriented approach.

Here's What You’ll Do:

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Utilize Moderna’s Value Proposition to design and execute compelling sourcing and recruitment marketing strategies.

  • Tenaciously build diverse talent pipelines through innovative channels, networking, and events.

  • Drive data-informed decisions by updating and monitoring talent metrics and weekly dashboards.

  • Ensure a consistent and high-quality recruiting process that enhances both candidate and hiring manager experiences.

  • Leverage external and internal talent insights to guide hiring managers in making informed decisions.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Proactively develop strong partnerships with functional leaders and HR partners.

  • Conduct in-depth talent screens, in-person interviews, and facilitate team discussions about candidates.

  • Boldly innovate to identify, engage, attract, and assess top talent.

  • Maintain an organized, methodical working style and ensure impactful communication at all levels.

The key Moderna Mindsets you’ll need to succeed in the role:

  • We act with urgency: The pace at Moderna is fast, and your ability to take immediate, decisive action will help secure top talent before they’re lost to competitors.

  • We question convention: As a talent advisor, challenging traditional recruitment methods and bringing creative, data-driven solutions will be critical in identifying and attracting the best candidates.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • A BS/BA with 5+ years of progressive experience in recruitment – ideally you will have both a blend of agency experience and in-house / corporate experience

  • Life sciences recruitment experience (ideally including deep understanding of digital and finance)

  • A desire to be part of a high-growth, transformational company that is Bold, Relentless, Curious, and Collaborative

  • Ability to manage upwards of 15-30 searches at varying levels – from entry-level to Manager level

  • Demonstrated commitment to being a true ‘talent advisor’ to the business

  • Exceptional sourcing skills (you are a tenacious hunter that turns over every rock and naturally builds talent networks).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English – you are outgoing, communicative, and seek to build relationships on a daily basis.

  • You drive for results and set a high bar for yourself and others

  • A natural ability to be organized in how you think, communicate, and conduct your work

  • A curious mindset that allows you to constantly learn and challenge the status quo

  • Great pride in your work – you recruit because you love it and enjoy having an impact on the growth of the Company

  • Preferred: Experience with Workday Recruiting

  • This role is expected to be in office 70% of the time with flexibility to work from home up to 30%.

Moderna offers personalized benefit programs and well-being resources as unique as our global workforce so employees can do their best work.

We recognize and appreciate your diverse needs and interests and do our best to support you at work and at home with:

  • Quality healthcare and insurance benefits
  • Lifestyle Spending Accounts to create your own pathway to well-being
  • Free premium access to fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness classes
  • Family planning and adoption benefits
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation, bank holidays, volunteer days, sabbatical, and a discretionary year-end shutdown
  • Educational resources
  • Savings and investments
  • Location-specific perks and extras!

The benefits offered may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Moderna and the country where you work.
