Overview:
The Applied Sciences Laboratory at SRI International team focuses on the development of new algorithms for a wide variety of exciting applications including supply chain networks, social graphs, optimization of generative AI models, material failures, and biological systems. The aim of the team is to conduct and publish research at top venues and assist SRI commercialize relevant technologies by filing patents and spinning out start-ups.
The Intern will help with software and algorithm development in support of a new computational and mathematical sciences team. This would be a 4-week position for the month of January, the intern can work remotely for the duration of the internship. We are open to the intern working full time or part time depending on school schedule.
Responsibilities:The salary range is: $20-$28/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
