The Opportunity

This role will join ESW Global Delivery Service team, responsible for client onboarding across the entire lifecycle, from pre-sales, to scoping, implementation and ongoing delivery. The candidate will engage with both the client and internal stakeholders through a consultative process to clearly define, configure and deliver client requirements within the expected timeframe. The role will have special focus on supporting the Italian market and its dedicated sales cycle and team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical & operations support to sales during the client pre-sales phase of the client engagement process.
  • Document client solution requirements concisely and accurately, to ensure product and client implementation teams have absolute clarity.
  • Working with Product Owners, to complete high-level client requirements to input into product development requests.
  • Provide input to the client Implementation schedule, ensuring all requirements are delivered for the client.
  • Configuration of the client solution via the ESW onboarding tooling.
  • Ongoing management of client expectations against product and functionality release schedules.
  • Report on the progress and health of the assigned client projects.
  • Manage the client relationship from the pre-sales phase through to project launch.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years in a solution engineering role or applicable sales and technical client support role within an e-commerce or development environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and fluent in both Italian and English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Technology/Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of B2C e-commerce solutions, processes, and technology solutions, including web stores, payments, and distribution platforms.
  • Structured approach to specifying, documentation, and planning.
  • Capable of leading consultative workshops with Clients to determine the best fit solution for the client.
  • Ability to handle and set realistic expectations with client.
