The Role

Dematic/KION is looking for an Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer responsible for the administration and management of virtual desktop infrastructures and environments with a focus on user experience and performance.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:

  • Validate components of the Azure infrastructure as part of the AVD / W365 deployment.
  • Responsible for publishing AVD desktop/application solutions and for application delivery.
  • Optimize, scale, and monitor the virtual desktop infrastructures.
  • Analyze and evaluate cloud resources and develop strategies for cost optimization, capacity and lifecycle management, and governance.
  • PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
  • Shape safety standards and check compliance with them.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or similar field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the field of Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience in PowerShell, Microsoft 365 (M365), Azure Active Directory, Intune, VDI, VMware, Citrix.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) certificate (Desired).
  • Experience in technologies Citrix, Remote Desktop or other VMWare, Active Directory, Conditional Access, Storage and Networking.
