The Role

Dematic/KION is looking for an Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer responsible for the administration and management of virtual desktop infrastructures and environments with a focus on user experience and performance.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:

Validate components of the Azure infrastructure as part of the AVD / W365 deployment.
Responsible for publishing AVD desktop/application solutions and for application delivery.
Optimize, scale, and monitor the virtual desktop infrastructures.
Analyze and evaluate cloud resources and develop strategies for cost optimization, capacity and lifecycle management, and governance.
PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
Shape safety standards and check compliance with them.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or similar field.
At least 3 years of experience in the field of Microsoft Azure.
Experience in PowerShell, Microsoft 365 (M365), Azure Active Directory, Intune, VDI, VMware, Citrix.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) certificate (Desired).
Experience in technologies Citrix, Remote Desktop or other VMWare, Active Directory, Conditional Access, Storage and Networking.
