Summary

The Solution Network Team is seeking a Product Management Intern. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a program that combines computer science and business. Preferred applicants will exhibit proactive engagement in business or technology mentorships outside of their academic studies and demonstrate strong skills in writing, analytical thinking, and presentations. This internship offers the opportunity to gain exposure to analyzing potential markets and competitors’ products, building a foundational understanding of product management strategies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess emerging technologies relevant to CPM, Operational Analytics, and related product areas connected to OneStream's core offerings.
• Conduct competitive due diligence by:
• Watching product demos.
• Analyzing competitor activity on social media and technical/customer boards.
• Researching industry newcomers and technology solution trends.
• Perform analyses of OneStream's development lifecycle to ensure alignment with modern, efficient, and agile processes.
• Research best practices for gathering, distilling, and prioritizing software requirements to enhance efficiency and impact.
• Synthesize research findings into a professionally written document, including:
• SWOT analysis.
• Recommendations for investment areas.
• Strategies to improve OneStream’s competitiveness.

Required Education and Experience

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate-level degree in a relevant field of study, such as computer science, business or a related discipline.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong preference of junior, senior, and graduate-level students.
• Prior internship experience is beneficial but not required.

• Possess basic knowledge of and a keen interest in finance.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills.
• Know your way around Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
• Comfort with speaking to individuals and presenting to large groups
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong ability in building and maintaining positive relationships.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve problems while maintaining professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills across both a team and individual setting.
• Able to work on a broad variety of projects.
• Adaptable to changing needs and situations.
• Ability to establish credibility and trust.
